RadiancE Lights Up The Gardens 

This season, step into the Toy Maker's workshop!​​

 

Beginning on Friday 28 November, Radiance illuminates the Botanic Gardens via an all-new, interactive light and sound show nightly until Christmas Eve.


Under the cover of dark experience immersive light displays, pulsating special effects, interactive zones and custom soundscapes, while crowd favourites such as the reflective Japanese Gardens and bedazzling falling snow return to transport attendees into a Christmas wonderland.

The must-see event of the holiday season. Gather your family and friends to experience the vivid adventure that is RadiancE!​​

DURATION: Allow 45 minutes – 1.25 hours

AGE REQUIREMENTS: All ages are welcome

ADMISSION TIMES:

SUNDAY – THURSDAY

6:45pm - Low-sensory session

7pm - General sessions every 15 minutes until 9pm

9:45pm - Botanic Gardens close

FRIDAY & SATURDAY

6:45pm - Low-sensory session

7pm - General sessions every 15 minutes until 10pm
10:45pm
 - Botanic Gardens close

​

Session entry times are every 15 minutes. Once inside, attendees 

experience the journey at their own pace.

Location

PARKING

General parking: Please park along Ann Street in the designated car parks. Please stay off the grass and carpool where you can.
Accessible parking available: Ann Street (in front of Rockhampton Zoo).
 
Due to limited parking and road closures, please arrive early. A 2-minute drop-off zone is provided for families with small children, prams and/or mobility limitations on the corner of Spencer Street and Ann Street. It's approximately a 300m distance from the drop-off zone to the ticketing entry point.

ROCKHAMPTON BOTANIC GARDENS

The Rockhampton Botanic Gardens is one of the oldest and most established public gardens in Queensland. The site has been heritage-listed since 1999 and is home to The Central Queensland War Memorial (The Cenotaph).

 

The Gardens today retain their historical significance with numerous iconic plantings including the 150-year-old canopy of Banyan figs and the avenue of Bunya pines.
